The singer shared a detailed message with fans on social media on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 23), explaining that he has been under the weather and can’t play the shows.
“Unfortunately I have to cancel the remaining dates on my ‘Don’t Talk’ tour,” he wrote. “This is the last thing I want because I love being on the road and performing and meeting every one of you. You are the reason I can do what I love most for a living and I am so thankful. I have been extremely sick pushing through these dates and haven’t taken the time my body needs to recover. Resting and taking time off the road is the only way I can get better and start performing for you again.”
Puth closed his message with a heartfelt apology to his dedicated fans.
“I promise I will do whatever I can to make it up to you,” he wrote. “I love you so much. I’m deeply sorry.”
Puth canceled several tour dates earlier this month after battling the flu. His last performance was on Saturday (Oct. 22) at CBS Radio’s We Can Survive concert in Los Angeles. No word on when the ‘Don’t Talk’ tour will be rescheduled.
