SANTA CLARA (LIVE 105) — Just two days before Coldplay takes the stage during the Super Bowl 50 halftime show, fans will be able to buy tickets to see the band play a return engagement at Levi’s Stadium in September.
The band had already announced the first leg of the “A Head Full Of Dreams Tour” last November that included a string of international dates playing mostly stadiums in South America, Mexico and Europe this summer. Coldplay released its latest album of the same name in December.
The announcement of the September 3 headlining date at Levi’s Stadium in conjunction with Live Nation comes as the Bay Area is in the heat of preparation for Super Bowl 50. Citi Cardmembers will have access to pre-sale tickets at 10 a.m. on Friday, February 5. More information can be found at LiveNation.com
Coldplay will be the top-billed performer during the game’s halftime spectacular alongside special guest Beyonce on Sunday, February 7.
