What Happens When ‘Millennials’ Spend The Day Greeting Strangers At SFO

We’ve all been there. After a long excruciating flight, you walk out of the airport terminal only to see happy people greeting their loved ones. Cue the violins, because no one is there for you — unless you happened to be at San Francisco International Airport on Monday.

A group of four millennials called Generation Y Not are on a journey to turn their lives around in 30 days. How you ask? By doing this they’ve never done before “to get out of [their] comfort zones.”

They’ve already organized a clothing drive, tried ghost peppers on a roller coaster and made it on as guest on The Daily Show.

Their latest efforts brought them to San Francisco where they spent the day greeting complete strangers from arriving flights.

“We realized how fortunate we were to be together and have someone greet us,” the group posted on YouTube. “So we decided we’d try and make some lone travelers’ days by welcoming them like they were part of our big weird happy family.”
