Paul Borrud, a former Australian Facebook exec with some time to kill, was recently in San Francisco with some family members when his nephew Bruno asked him for a favor.
The boy asked his uncle if he would help get rid of his pesky loose front tooth.
Borrud, however, wasn’t just going to do it the old-fashioned way — this is San Francisco! No one does anything the traditional way, right? We don’t even do our own laundry — we have apps for that!
He immediately had a good idea as to how he would help out his nephew.
“Sure,” he said. “How about we use my Drone, Phyllis.”
Borrud doesn’t just have a drone named Phyllis for just fooling around. Phyllis is useful.
Bruno, a small but fearless human, agreed.
Per the video text, Borrud outlined how it all went down.
“We all gathered down at Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco and strategized the First Ever Tooth Pull by a Drone,” he wrote. “We used high grade Dental Floss, cleared the area, cameras in place, checked in one last time to make sure he wanted to do it, he said ‘YES!'”
And away it flew.
Let’s hope you got a few bitcoins from the tooth fairy for that one, Bruno.
