Bubba might just be the coolest cat in school, and that’s not just because he is the only cat in school.
The cat, who belongs to human Amber Marienthal, spends almost all of his time outside and at the high school, chasing tail (from literal mice and squirrels) and eyeing the Temptations around campus.
Bubba is well-admired by the student body and teachers alike, and has been given an expiration-free hall pass to strut around school buildings and lounge on tables and chairs.
He’s even allowed to put his feet up on the desks.
As Marienthal says, he usually returns home after sports practices are over (what a jock), but once, the cat got locked inside a classroom for a day and a half. Fortunately, according to his owner, Bubba “meows like a lion,” and was found by campus security.
Bubba is around so frequently, as a matter of fact, that school administrators agreed to issue Bubba an I.D. (see above).
So, what’s next for the model student? Perhaps a run for prom king, if he manages to stave off cat naps for more than an hour or two.
