Sam Smith is about to make his way to the Bay Area briefly for this weekend’s Outside Lands, but according to Madame Tussauds, the singer will be staying in San Francisco in at least some capacity.
The wax museum at Fisherman’s Wharf is adding a new figure of Smith to their Music Zone on August 10, 2015, the day after he plays the Golden Gate Park music festival.
“Madame Tussauds is honored to celebrate Sam Smith’s musical accomplishments here in San Francisco and to welcome him into our effervescent Music room,” said Chris Connors, General Manager Madame Tussauds. “We can’t wait to offer his fans a chance to get up close to one of the best-loved singers of his generation.”
Be sure to catch Smith if you’re headed to this weekend’s big event.
