First Look At New Documentary ‘Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine’

The trailer for Oscar-winning filmmaker Alex Gibney documentary on Apple Co-founder Steve Jobs is now online.

Not to be confused with the upcoming drama starring Michael Fastbender, ‘Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine’ attempts to tell the story of the late technology mogul using archival footage and interviews with people from Job’s personal and professional career. Created without the sanction of Apple or the cooperation of Job’s family, the film promises to show a balance portrait of man who was “part iconoclast, part savvy corporate chieftain, part genius, part tyrant.”

Alex Gibney is an Academy Award-winning documentary director who’s credit include ‘Taxi to the Dark Side’ (2007), ‘Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer’ (2010), ‘We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks’ (2013), ‘The Armstrong Lie’ (2013), and ‘Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief (2015)’.

In theatres, On Demand and on iTunes September 4th. Details at www.magpictures.com/stevejobsthemaninthemachine/.
