Getting married at Disneyland might be one of the most magical things a couple can do, but it’s certainly not one of the cheapest: official sponsored wedding packages can run you tens of thousands alone, not including floral, photos, or a dress. Anticipating the bill at the end of the night might be enough to blow away all the fairy dust and revert your proverbial enchanted coach car right back into a pumpkin.
One Oakland couple figured out a way to have their cake and eat it too when it came to holding a wedding at Disneyland: they snuck the whole damn ceremony in (although, to be clear, it wasn’t cake — it was actually Pineapple Dole Whips).
Lex Emmanuel and Emily Rose of Oakland chose The Enchanted Tiki Room as their impromptu venue (primarily due to space), and when the moment struck, the officiant began with the vows while the photographer snapped away.
