Female ‘Ghostbusters’ Director Reveals Costumes For Film

The new, female-fronted “Ghostbusters” film starring some modern comedy greats is still a ways away with a July 2016 release date, but we’re at least sporadically getting some tidbits of information about the new film.

The latest morsel comes from the Twitter account of the film’s director Paul Feig, who revealed the cast costumes.

Melissa McCarthy alongside SNL greats Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon (with recent male cast addition Chris Hemsworth) will star in the film, and here is what they’ll be wearing:

For comparison’s sake, here’s what the original Ghostbusters wore:

They’re largely similar, save for some orange stripes across the front.

We also recently got a peek from someone on the set, who secretly snapped a photo of McCarthy looking prim and McKinnon, well, not.

 

“Ghostbusters” is due in theaters July 22, 2016.
