It’s the age-old question: are you a Miranda? A Charlotte? A Samantha? Or are you a Carrie?

All Sex and the City fans have asked themselves that at least once or twice during the show’s six year run on HBO (and probably during the subsequent films too).

But while the movies and reruns get a bit overwrought, the show’s premise, almost like the personality question, does not: four women navigate the highs and lows of love, sex, and success in the big city.

Luckily, the show has just been given a very novel spin.

This June, Oasis, a nightclub and cabaret theater in SoMa, will bring back its live performance of Sex and the City, centered around our quartet of women about town. However, unlike the hit television show, this adaptation stars drag performers Sue Casa as Carrie Bradshaw, D’Arcy Drollinger as Samantha Jones, Lady Bear as Miranda Hobbs and Hannukah Lewinsky as Charlotte York.

The show will also partner with SF drag legend Heklina, a longtime producer for famed San Francisco drag bar Trannyshack.

The play will run June 4 to July 3 2015, and tickets are on sale now for $25 and up.
