Watch Apple CEO Tim Cook Throw Some Serious Shade At Android In A Commencement Address

Over the weekend, Apple CEO Tim Cook gave a commencement speech at George Washington University, telling encouraging anecdotes and sagaciously addressing topics fruitful to the new Class of 2015. He told inspiring stories about Steve Jobs, Jimmy Carter, and Martin Luther King Jr. — standard graduation speech fare.

However, Cook also couldn’t resist throwing a little shade.

“They’ve asked me to make a standard announcement…about silencing your phones,” Cook told the crowd. “So those of you with an iPhone, just place it in silent mode. If you don’t have an iPhone, please pass it to the center aisle; Apple has a world-class recycling program.”
