Happy holidays everyone, it’s Bay to Breakers weekend!!

The city’s biggest race is now over 100 years old, but it still seems like every year, participants get wackier and more naked and the race gets larger and busier.

It’s mayhem, but in the best way, because that if you run it, you’ll be sandwiched between a nudist and someone in a pink gorilla costume.

You’ll feel okay, because you’re wearing a giant cardboard box made to look like a Tetris piece.

Unless, that is, you don’t have time to make your Tetris-themed box because it’s already the weekend and whoa, that race really sneaked up on you.

Don’t worry, we’ve got your back. Here are some ideas:

Theme: The 80s
Yes, go on: You can almost definitely pull this off in some form with what’s already in your closet. All you need is neon, spandex, and scissors to make an off-the-shoulder tee. Tubular.

Theme: Christmas
Yes, go on: Just throw on whatever you wore for SantaCon. Really, it’s the economical solution. And it’s jolly.

Theme: Body paint?
Yes, go on: The possibilities are endless. Paint on some leopard spots. Go green as The Hulk. Turn Blue like the Blue Man Group (or at least like Tobias trying out for the Blue Man Group in “Arrested Development”). Or, you can do like this guy, and be a lizard of some sort.

Yes, go on: If you’ve got a bodysuit or just undies or shorts, something you can make into a cape (a sheet, light blanket, etc.), and a $0.99 mask, this could be you:

Theme: Harry Potter
Yes, go on: All you need here is a black robe, some markers to make a seal, safety pins to attach, a broom or stick for a wand and done.
