Are Taco Bell Locations About To Start Adding Alcohol To The Menu?

By Alyssa Pereira

It’s looking like it.

A Taco Bell planned to open in Chicago soon has reportedly just applied for a liquor license, making it the first Taco Bell to do so.

This news comes after whispers that U.S. Taco Co., the upscale Huntington Beach Taco Bell iteration, might be selling beer-flavored milkshakes. In their case, the city put the kibosh on that, so for the time being, the company had nothing in the works as far as alcohol permitting.

Well, until now.

So far, the Chicago location hasn’t opened, but we do know that it will feature a new “urban” design.

Could this signify a boozy change soon to come for all Taco Bells? We’ll soon find out.
