Happy Friday Bay Area!
Thanks for reading. It was a wild week in the news, so we gathered up the week’s weirdest and most interesting stories.
Here are the week’s buzziest stories!
The Academy of Sciences, arguably the world’s greatest science museum, has finally unveiled their summer lineups for the season. Tickets to each show aren’t too expensive and will get you in for not just a show, but also an exploration of some of the museum’s coolest exhibits (and access to some top notch cocktails!).
By now you’ve probably heard that Netflix is gearing up to reboot ‘Full House’ starring DJ and Kimmy, but luckily for us, a large portion of the cast will also be returning as guest stars. Well, except for one: Michelle. The Olsen twins seem to be artfully dodging the fact that they’re not going to return to acting, but as it turns out, they happen to have a very gifted and similar-looking sister who acts.
One of the coolest things in showbiz lately are creative ads that mix reality with alternate television universes. In this campaign, by HBO’s ‘Silicon Valley’, the show posts up the actual ads from the TV show around Silicon Valley, so fans can get right in on the action.
Demi Lovato has had a weird week. Between dedicating a song to Bruce Jenner to shutting down a tattoo artist to a weird incident at her gyno’s office, the singer must be just so over this week.
The headline says it all really. Couldn’t be more direct unless we punched you in the face.
