You’ve heard of KitTea and Cat Town Cafe, but the world is about to get it’s very first cat-friendly movie theater.

Called the Great Kitten, the theater will play films while patrons get to hang out with adoptable rescue cats for £5-6.

Currently, the founders, Paula Siedlacka and William Piper are crowdfunding £120,000 as they look for locations in Crouch End, North London.

In addition to the cat play rooms (and unlike our local cat-friendly cafes in the Bay Area), the theater will also offer “animal therapy” to children as well as adults with disabilities and mental health problems.

Watch their progress here on their Facebook page.

Do you think the Bay Area would welcome a cat theater like this?
