Can you believe there have already been 23 James Bond films released?
Spectre will be the 24th and Daniel Craig’s fourth as the notorious secret agent, and will also feature Christoph Waltz (as bad guy Oberhause), Ralph Fiennes as M, as well as Monica Bellucci and Léa Seydoux among many others.
The film only began production recently, so we don’t have much, but we at least have this plot summary:
A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
As Consequence of Sound points out, SPECTRE stands for Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion, a massive criminal organization featured in several previous Bond films and the original novels.
Spectre will premiere in US theaters on November 6th, 2015.
