Tim Burton has been a go-to source for cinematic reboots and adaptations, whether is has been reimagining Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory by sticking with the source material for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, or by creating a live action world for Alice in Wonderland that previously only existed as a cartoon and a book. But next for Burton may be his toughest challenge yet: making an elephant fly.

Yes, Tim Burton has signed on to adapt a live action version of Dumbo for Disney. The film will mark another collaboration between Burton and Disney, following the iconic The Nightmare Before Christmas as well as the aforementioned Alice film and its upcoming sequel.
