1.Marc Goodman investigates the intersection of science and security. He’s the founder of the Future Crimes Institute and the Chair for Policy, Law, and Ethics at Silicon Valley’s Singularity University. His new book is Future Crimes: Everything is Connected, Everyone is Vulnerable and What We Can Do About It.  Listen to the podcast here.

2. JDRF is a global organization with a strategic research plan to end Type 1 Diabetes. Sara and Andy Kurtzig, parents of a child with Type 1 diabetes, were inspired to start an annual event to raise money for JDRF. The JDRF Royal Ball is may 2nd in San Francisco.  Listen to the podcast here.

3. CAAM Fest 2015 celebrates Asian American storytelling in film, food, and music. The annual film festival is March 12th through 22nd at venues in San Francisco, Berkeley, and Oakland. Masashi Niwano is the festival director.  Listen to the podcast here.
