Music festivals may be blowing up in popularity thanks to killer bookings and nice weather, but once in a while, it’s better to escape the madness and chill out with a little folk tunes and the outdoors.

That’s what Huichica Fest is all about anyway. Held at the Gundlach Bundschu Winery in Sonoma every year since 2010, Huichica was started by a vintner and a musician who shared a mutual love of great songs,  fantastic wine, and generally just chilling out.

In 2013, (((folkYEAH!))) joined the team to help out with bookings, and since then, they’ve booked a mix of folk, psych, and acoustic acts that perfectly complement laying on the grass and doing literally nothing else but drinking wine.

Sounds amazing, doesn’t it?

This year’s fest will be held June 12-13 and features acts like Allah-Las, Atlas Sound and Pure Bathing Culture, as well as incredible Bay Area locals like Jessica Pratt, Shannon & the Clams and Fresh & Onlys.

Tickets run from $40-$55 a day to $120 for 2-day VIP passes.
