Most people love to be scared to some extent.

The best scares come with monotony, because you’re most easily frightened when your guard is down. Maybe you’ll see a mouse runs across your kitchen floor when you’re relaxing at home or you’ll witness a mild car wreck in an intersection you frequent, for example.

Neither is particularly terrifying, but it’ll make you jump in total horror.

This video is an excellent example of that. At only one minute long, it manages to disturb more than it scares, but holy hell, does it really disturb.

Called ‘Tuck Me In’, this one-minute film created by Spanish director Ignacio F. Rodo for Filminute is based on a creepy Reddit thread from last year that asked “What is the best horror story you can come up with in two sentences?”

Yep, this is it. This is probably the most unsettling short film we’ve ever seen.
