The World Series is finally upon us, and one of the best parts (besides all the baseball) are the over-the-top musical performances.

This year, it looks like the series is headed for country flair.

The opening performance of the “Star-Spangled Banner” will be sung by Trisha Yearwood before Game 1, and another country act, the quartet Little Big Town, will sing before Game 3 on Friday, October 24.

Wednesday’s anthem will be sung by American Idol Phillip Phillips, and Carlos Santana will play an instrumental version of the Anthem with his son before Game 4 in San Francisco.
