Liz Saint John interviews three guests every Sunday morning covering a variety of issues and topics. She talks with representatives from Bay Area non-profit organizations, documentary filmmakers, authors, and professors.

1. SF Open Studios will features over 800 artists  over the next four weekends. The Preview will continue today at SOMArts, 934 Brannon Street. Joen Madonna is the Executive Director of ArtSpan, the organization presenting SF Open Studios, and Joshua Coffy is a professional artist who will be showing his work on the weekend of October 25th and 26th.

2.New York Times science reporter Benedict Carey talks about the latest research into the process of learning. He writes about his findings in How We Learn: The Surprising Truth About When, Where, and Why It Happens.

3. Creative Growth Art Center executive Director Tom diMaria talks about the oldest and largest art center for people with disabilities and the upcoming Bay Area ReelAbilities Disabilities Film Festival that plays in San Francisco and Oakland October 15th-19th.
