5 Seconds of Summer & Jimmy Fallon Get Us Ready For the Season With #FallSongs: Watch

By Shannon Carlin

Grab your Pumpkin Spice Latte and watch 5 Seconds of Summer officially usher us into fall.

Last night (Oct. 2) on The Tonight Show, the Aussie band helped host Jimmy Fallon with a segment called #FallSongs, which had band parodying famous pop songs by replacing the original lyrics with tweets about the season.

They turned a tweet about hot wings, football and raking in flannel into a new version of Blink-182’s “All The Small Things.” And then apologized to Jay Z for using “99 Problems” for a song about halloween costume problems. Guess what, a witch ain’t one.

The guys then had a little fun with the falsetto for a parody of Nelly’s “Hot in Herre” with lyrics about keeping warm with, what else, a pumpkin latte.

They even got to poke a little fun at their own song “She’s So Perfect” with a new version that had them singing about scarecrows. Guitarist Michael Clifford couldn’t even keep a straight face during that one and we can’t believe they made it that far without laughing.
