Nine Bay Area Sports Organizations Take On the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

 It seems like everyone these days is taking part in the Ice Bucket challenge for ALS. It seems to be working too—according to the New York Times, the viral media campaign has raised millions of dollars for the cause.

Many of our own Bay Area athletes got in on the cause, from the Warriors to the Quakes.

The Director of Athletics opted to not drop a bucket of water due to the drought, but donated a check to the cause.
