Competitive eater and San Jose resident Matt Stonie is looking to dethrone fellow San Jose eater Joey Chestnut as the king of hot dog eating at Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog contest 2014.

At last year’s annual 4th of July competition, Stonie finished second after downing 51 dogs and buns. Joey Chestnut set the current world record by eating 69 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes.
