It’s a good thing orange is the new black, or else Meeks would be so out of fashion.
Thanks to the internet masses, felon Jeremy Meeks has landed himself a modeling agent and a contract. Meeks’ family hired Gina Rodriguez of GR Media, who has reportedly been receiving death threats since her name was released as connected to Meeks. Today, she announced that Meeks has been signed to L.A.-based Blaze Models.
Rodriguez also represents “famous” people like Farrah Abraham, the Teen Mom better known for her not-a-sex-tape sex tape, and Nadya “Octomom” Suleman. Currently Meeks’ bail is set at over $1 million dollars, which Rodriguez is trying to lower, but has received over twenty threatening phone calls (for some reason?). Meeks has connections to a Stockton gang called the Northside Gangster Crips, in case you forgot, and has been linked to gun possession and some serious violence. Since then though, as his niece says, he has found God, and is a changed man.
