We are already pretty aware that Amy Adams is first-rate actress, but it turns out she’s a pretty good person too. Adams was flying from Detroit to LA in first class and noticed a uniformed soldier getting on board. As Jemele Hill, an ESPN2 host who was also on the flight noticed, Adams gave up her seat very quietly for him to take it.
“Ms. Adams did it so quietly and quickly that it speaks to her character,” Hill said. “And somebody in coach just got a helluva seatmate!”
As POPSUGAR notes, Adams’ father Richard Kent served in the military, which may have prompted her generosity.
