The Frameline 38 San Francisco International LGBT Film Festival is June 19-29 at the Castro Theatre (and a few other venues).

More than 200 films from 31 countries will be screened this year. There are comedies, dramas, documentaries, premiers, shorts, and more.  Over 100 filmmakers will participate in panel discussions.

Opening night: The Case Aaginst 8, a documentary about the five-year legal battle that overturned Proposition 8.

Centerpiece: To Be Takei, a documentary that celebrates Star Trek legend George Takei, an actor and marriage-euqality advocate.

Centerpiece: Lilting, a drama about a bereaved mother and her late son’s longtime lover.

Closing night: I Feel Like Disco, a comedy-drama-musical film about an overbearing father and his sexually confused son who loves disco.
