Are you going out for a little training run today? Doing some stretching? Carbo-loading? Prepping your costume?
Sounds like you’re ready for the annual Bay to Breakers road race across San Francisco tomorrow morning!
Some good ways to get to the start line: Take public transit, carpool, have a friend drop you off…or, if you can afford it (and there’s space available) get a hotel room nearby.
BART will be running extra service. Check info here.
My favorite line from BART’s Bay to Breakers info page:
BART reminds runners that shoes and proper attire are required on BART despite the “anything goes” attitude of the famous race.
Translation: Don’t show up naked! Think about it…crowded trains with some naked people mixed in…awkward! And after the race…crowded trains with some naked, sweaty, people mixed in!
Here’s the Golden Gate Ferry Bay to Breakers Special Service info for tomorrow’s race. Click here. Although they don’t mention it, I’m sure they’ll also appreciate if everyone wears clothing.
And your Caltrain Bay to Breakers Special Service info is Here.
Have a great time!
