The San Francisco Dungeon is coming.
While many (maybe?) were sad to hear that the Wax Museum on Fisherman’s Wharf was closing, there is a little good news. The San Francisco Dungeon, the brain project of Merlin Entertainments, is here to bring the city’s tourists “the ultimate live action journey through San Francisco’s authentic past.” The attraction features a brief ride on an underground boat, and then entertains showgoers with 200 years of history in nine live action scenes.
The 60 minute experience promises to be hilarious, but “a bit scary,” (no doubt aided by the 167 special effects it boasts) and tells 52 local “authentic” stories.
Check out the details here, and look out for it this summer at 145 Jefferson Street.
