Liz Saint John interviews three guests every Sunday morning covering a variety of issues and topics. She talks with representatives from Bay Area non-profit organizations, documentary filmmakers, authors, and professors.

1. Heather Brewer is the bestselling author of the Chronicles of Vladimir Tod Series and the Slayer Chronicles. She uses her own experiences of being bullied throughout her grade school and high school years as inspiration for her storylines of being an outsider. her latest book is “Second Chance.”

2. Tamim Ansary was born in Afghanistan, moved to the U.S. as a teen, and now lives in San Francisco where he’s the Director of the San Francisco Writer’s Workshop. His latest book is “Games Without Rules: The Often interrupted History of Afghanistan.

3. The 34th Annual Celebration of Craftswomen is November 24th and 25th and december 1st and 2nd at Fort Mason in San Francisco. Leslie Edelman is the producer of the show and Eileen P. Goldenberg is one of the over 100 participating artists. Suddha Pennathur is the CEO of a design and manufacturing company who is holding her annualSuddha’s Treasures Sale on November 9-11 and 16-18 to benefit Bread and Roses and The Angel Island Conservancy.
