Adam Lambert Settles Lawsuit Over Pre-“Idol” Album

Adam Lambert says he won’t stand in the way of the release of an album he recorded prior to his “American Idol” days.  That development comes now that his old record company has agreed to drop a lawsuit against him regarding the marketing and distribution of the album…

The settlement clears the way for the company to continue to sell the album “Beg for Mercy”, which Adam recorded before he became an Idol phenom and brought up questions as to whether he was actually eligible to be on the show, which has rules against singers who already have recording contracts competing.  Here are some brief (ha!) details
