The San Francisco SPCA is hosting a 72 hour event this Friday, July 30th.

The San Francisco SPCA will be hosting a 72 hour event this weekend where the goal is to find 72 new homes for 72 pets in the 72 hour period.

“72-in72″ begins on Friday, July 30, 2010 at 10am at Maddie’s Adoption Center and ends on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 6pm.

The event will feature food, mixers and workshops while promoting animal welfare awareness. The SFSPCA will also have a bake sale where all proceeds will go to the fostering program, a Purrfect Photo booth for Facebook picture uploads and a “Cute as a Button” station where pet owners can make buttons and pins with the picture of their favorite pet.
