Break out your sunglasses and toast June’s long summer days with a cocktail at one of our favorite outdoor bars. Two local spots made “Sunset Magazine’s” top 10 outdoor bars. Check them out:
#4.) Bottega- Yountville, CA: Claim the sofa in the northwest corner late in the afternoon and watch the sun set over Mt. Veeder. Napa Valley’s outdoor living room, firelight, and strings of twinkly lightbulbs overhead turn the old stones of Yountville’s V Marketplace into a late- night party.
Mojitos topped with prosecco, and Negronis with a shot of Campari.

#10.) Sam’s Chowder House – Half Moon Bay, CA: Blue and white Adirondacks on a terraced patio look out toward the sailboats and fishing boats moored at Pillar Point. Weekenders heading along the coast mob the joint for the famous lobster roll-then decide to stay for the music (5-8 Sat, 1-4 Sun) and ocean breeze.
Steer clear of the signature Sea Sweeper (sweet enough to choke you and strong enough to knock you off your chair) and order the Timo’s Bloody Mary instead.
